We’re a VTuber-run and VTuber-created talent group with a mission to bring moe and underground idol culture straight to you! We’re obsessed with sweets and all things quirky from Japanese pop culture and media. ♡

"what is moe culture?"

Moe is a Japanese slang term used to describe a strong affection or emotional response toward anime or manga characters—typically those who are cute, innocent, or endearing. These characters are often described as kawaii (cute) or feminine, and they evoke feelings of adoration and protectiveness.Moe is more than simply "liking" a character; it represents a deeper emotional attachment, sometimes described as a kind of "pseudo-romance." However, moe is generally considered distinct from pure lust. While mild elements of attraction can be part of the moe experience, feelings that focus too heavily on sexual desire fall outside the traditional scope of moe.Common visual traits associated with moe characters include:

While these traits are also found in underground idols, their performances may not be as polished or professional. However, many underground idol fans would argue that this is part of their charm.Underground idols usually aren't formally trained. They tend to have smaller, but very loyal, fanbases—and often foster a closer, more personal relationship with each individual fan. Unlike mainstream idols, who gain popularity through CD sales and media promotions, underground idols rise to fame through their live performances, often in small venues or even online—similar to livestreams!If you're familiar with idol culture, you may have heard of chekis (チェキ). These instant photos became especially popular in the underground idol scene, as fans often purchase them to get a personalized keepsake from their favorite performers.This scene also includes a subcategory called Akiba-kei idols, who are known for incorporating otaku culture—such as anime, games, and moe aesthetics—into their music and performances.
"why do we resonate with these themes & concepts ?"
Juno and Puni, the founding VTubers of our group, share a deep love for quirky 2000s otaku culture. When designing their models, both were heavily inspired by moe and kawaii anime aesthetics. But moe isn’t just about looking cute—it’s about evoking a feeling of adoration and love from fans. While all creators and streamers hope to be loved, Juno and Puni believe their appeal lies in the genuineness they bring to every stream. Both founding idols are rather silly... but that's one of their best qualities! and the most important part is they want to be silly with you !!!
