who & what are we ? (╹ -╹)?
we are a vtuber ran & created talent group with the goal of brining moe & underground idol culture to you! we love sweets & weird japanese pop culture & media.
we are planning to be a small & tight nit group.
we want to make friends & have fun on & off stream.
"what is moe culture?"
萌え
moe is a japanese slang term used to describe anime or manga characters that one may feel a strong affection for. these characters are described as being kawaii or femine. Usually, these characters create an emotion of adoration.
it's more than just "liking" a character. it describes a feeling much deeper. It can be considered a kind of "pseudo-romance". Moe, however, is also considered to be distinct from pure lust. While small amounts of lust is generally considered moe, a feeling that focuses too heavily on lust is considered outside the scope of moe.

"what are underground idols ?"
アイドル
in japanese culture, idols are marketed for their images & personality. typical, idols usually have skills such as singing, acting, & dancing. While these skills are also seen with underground idols, some aren't as polished or professional. most underground idol enjoyers would argue this is why they have such an appeal. underground idols normally aren't trained. they usually have smaller, but very loyal fanbases. having a closer relationship with each individual fan. these idols don't garner fame through CD's or media promotions from the music or performance industry, but rather from their live performance they host. like a stream ! if you know anything about idols, you may have heard of chekis (チェキ). these instant photos became popular because of the underground idol scene in japan. this scene also has a sub category called Akiba-kei idols. These idols where known for there incorporating otaku culture into their music & performaces.
"why do we resonate with these themes & concepts ?"
juno & puni (the vtuber founders) have expressed interest in weird 2000s otaku culture. both considering moe & kawaii anime visuals when it came to creating & designing their models. not only is moe about being kawaii, but implies the idea of being adored & loved by fans. all creators & streamers want this, but they know their appeal will resonate more with fans who are attracted to the
genuineness they have to offer. both founding idols are rather silly... but that's one of their best qualities! and the most important part is they want to be silly with you !!!
